Reading spot status
Some pins carry extra markers on the map and in the list. Here’s what each one means.
⭐ Legendary
A small gold star in the upper-left of the pin. Marks a historically significant spot — the kind that shaped skateboarding. These are set by the NBD Finder team.
🚫 Destroyed/Permanently Closed
A small gray tombstone in the lower-left of the pin. This location has been demolished, permanently closed, or is otherwise permanently no longer skateable. It stays on the map as a historical record, but it can’t hold new Challenges, and any active Challenges are closed out if a spot is marked Destroyed/Permanently Closed.
💰 Active NBD
A glowing green ring around the pin means the spot has at least one live Challenge waiting to be claimed. Open the spot and the exact pot shows on the green “💰 NBD Challenges · $X” button inside.
