Submitting a spot

Know a spot, park, or shop we don’t have yet? Add it so the rest of the community can find it. You’ll need to be signed in.

Add it to the map

  1. Tap the round + button on the map. The “Add to Map” form opens. (Logged out, the button reads “Submit Spot (must be logged in)” and prompts you to sign in first.)
  2. Pick a type: Street Spot, Skatepark, or Skate Shop. The rest of the fields appear once you choose.
  3. Add at least one photo (required) — “🖼 Upload Photos” from your device, or use the camera button.
  4. Enter the name (for example, “10 Stair Rail”).
  5. Set the location: type a street address, switch to “Use Lat/Long” to paste raw coordinates, or tap “Pick on Map” and place the pin exactly.
  6. Street spots and parks can optionally tag obstacles and add a description; shops get an optional website URL instead.
  7. Tap “Submit Spot”.

What happens next

If your account is still on the Trial level, your submission goes to a moderation queue first — we usually clear it within a day, and you’ll get a notification when it’s live. Once you’re promoted to Standard, your spots publish immediately.

Before you submit: check the spot isn’t already on the map nearby, make sure the photo actually shows the obstacle, and drop the pin as accurately as you can. Clean submissions get approved faster.
